AmeriCorps Summer Coaching Fellow

Harlem RBI is seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to serve as coaching and teaching fellows in an innovative summer program for youth in grades K-5 in East Harlem, New York. Harlem RBI’s summer REAL Kids (Reading and Enrichment Academy for Learning) program provides youth with a full day of educational, enrichment and baseball activities, designed to foster a positive learning environment, build character and reverse summer learning loss.

Director of Information Technology

Harlem RBI and DREAM Charter School are seeking a dynamic and forward thinking leader to serve as Director of Information Technology (IT). Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of IT will work to align the enabling capabilities of technology with Harlem RBI and DREAM’s organizational objectives and long-term strategic goals. In order to ensure flexibility in adapting to changing industry needs the Director of IT will work to identify important technology issues for the leadership of both organizations and advise on the need for timely technology investment. Additionally, the Director of IT will lead Harlem RBI's internal IT team in the management of day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure maintenance, as well as plan and execute new IT projects and initiatives. The selected applicant will also manage external relationships with external IT vendors, outsourcing partners, and developer consultants and offer technical guidance on provider contracts.

Director of REAL Kids Program

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a senior program leader to direct Harlem RBI’s REAL Kids (Reading and Enrichment Academy for Learning) comprehensive after-school program. The REAL Kids Program Director is responsible for ensuring a consistent and aligned program culture of excellence in youth development and team based learning across multiple sites. The Program Director manages a team of Campus Managers, Education Specialists and a Manager of Curriculum and Professional Development who work with a large team of youth workers, operations staff and teachers to implement a high quality and free After School and Summer Program for youth in Kindergarten - 5th Grades.

Human Resources Coordinator

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR Department with the day-to-day administration of Harlem RBI and its institutional partner DREAM Charter School’s benefit plans and payroll. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR practices and laws along with being a detailed-oriented professional committed to outstanding customer service.

Legends Program Coordinator

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Program Coordinator for the Legends program. The Legends Program Coordinator will lead Harlem RBI’s initiative to serve alumni of our award-winning youth development program. The Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be to drive and improve upon our Legends program which transitions high school seniors to college success and supports program alumni as they work to attain a college degree, explore potential careers, make networking connections, and give back to the organization’s youth participants and programs. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience forming deep relationships with young adults and have extensive experience working with youth who are/will be first generation college students. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be a collaborative individual with strong initiative, commitment to excellence and a relentless pursuit towards identified goals.

Major Gifts Manager

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Major Gifts Manager. The Major Gifts Manager will support the Director of Development in developing and implementing strategies to effectively cultivate, solicit and steward major donors. The Major Gifts Campaign Manager will be part of a ten-member Development team and will focus on identifying and securing five and six-figure gifts, primarily from individuals. The successful candidate will be able to work as a team player and possess a talent for working effectively with diverse personalities and working styles.

REAL Kids Campus Assistant

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a REAL Kids Campus Assistant. The REAL Kids Campus Assistant will work directly with the REAL Kids Campus Manager as Harlem RBI launches its first ever program outside of the East Harlem it has called home for over 20 years. The Campus Assistant will support various operations of our new South Bronx site of Harlem RBI’s REAL Kids program, which provides youth in K–5th grades with a unique inclusive learning environment which focuses on building interest and enthusiasm for reading while improving critical thinking and team skills through hands-on learning and enrichment activities. The REAL Kids Campus Assistant will work with the REAL Kids Campus Manager by supporting the day-to-day management and operations of the program. The successful candidate will be a skilled administrator and supporter of youth development programs who has a desire to make a lasting impact in an underserved community.

REAL Kids Campus Manager

Harlem RBI is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a REAL Kids Campus Manager. The REAL Kids Campus Manager will work directly with the Director of Bronx Programs as Harlem RBI launches its first ever program outside of the East Harlem it has called home for over 20 years. The Campus Manager will manage our new South Bronx site of Harlem RBI’s REAL Kids program, which provides youth in K–5th grades with a unique inclusive learning environment which focuses on building interest and enthusiasm for reading while improving critical thinking and team skills through hands-on learning and enrichment activities. The REAL Kids Campus Manager will work with the Director of Bronx Programs to handle the day-to-day management and operations of the program, including the supervision of up to 50 part-time staff during the summer and up to 30 part-time staff during the academic year. The successful candidate will be a skilled leader and manager of youth development programs who has a desire to make a lasting impact in an underserved community.
