| WE BROKE GROUND! |
|
We did it! We broke ground on the East Harlem Center for Living and Learning on Thursday, February 7. It was a momentous occasion for us as we put the shovels to the ground on the site of our future home. In addition to a brand new school for DREAM and office and program space for Harlem RBI, the building will include affordable housing units, community space and a renovated public park. New York Yankee First Baseman and Harlem RBI Board Member Mark Teixeira, Council Member Melissa Mark-Viverito, NYCHA Chairman John B. Rhea and many other supporters joined our celebration alongside our families, students, staff and community members.
