TEAMBUILDERS
Serving 64 7th and 8th grade youth, ages 13-14, TeamBuilders
offers group-based learning activities. This year-round program strengthens academic
and life skills while youth play on a baseball or softball team.
Participants take part in academic support and enrichment programs, project-based
learning activities, community service projects, field
trips, and high school placement assistance.
TeamBuilders participants:
- improve social and emotional skills
- improve academic skills and school attendance
- develop leadership skills, community awareness, and civic
responsibility
- promote physical health
