TEAMWORKS
Serving 64 youth, ages 15-16, year round, the TeamWorks
participants prepares high school age participants to find and maintain jobs,
focuses them on their academic success and begins to prepare them for life after
Harlem RBI.
Youth participate in academic tutorials, project based learning, job training
and summer job opportunities. As they gain confidence and competence, youth build
new skills such as resume writing and interviewing, preparing them for summertime
and school year employment with Harlem RBI partners.
TeamWorks participants in the Junior and Senior
leagues:
- serve as positive role models for younger participants
- learn job readiness skills
- improve study skills, school attendance, and grades
